I switched servers recently to Contabo. they’re not half bad, not the greatest but not the worst. Also reverted back to using LSWS as my main server. though I have been known to use webinoly, hestiacp, or just nginx primarily. had to reinstall ubuntu + OLS from scratch, which isn’t a big deal actually. I was following some quite bad advice from Chatgpt, you play you pay. yet you have to be a bit experimental nowadays with technology, can’t always play it safe or not take risks. risks too can have a good ROI. Openlitespeed is quite easy to get great performance out of, especially for wordpress run sites. eventually I’d simply opt for a site like this one. and a whole muthaload of others either off of neocities or some other spot elsewhere on the web.

on a personal note I had been dodging incoming calls from Grace, my crazy Korean cousin who is always trying to use me as her personal relationship therapist, just because: I once wrote a piece in a dating advice book for shy girls. so she thinks I’m this Dr. Phil or some shit. however I’ve been using AI to imitate my voice into a voice simulator so it sounds like I’m thoughtful + actually interested in this shit. but now, after having duped her into thinking I was AI Dr. Phil she wants to be my roomate, which means she wants to crash on my sofa rent free while in town (she’s a flight attendant for Delta). I kinda have to oblige b/c she taught me Korean and how not to be terribly retarded in math growing up. plus she’s like the 3rd sister I never wanted. also I have to admit though she can’t cook worth a damn, she does make good homemade mandu + cleans like she’s a serial killer trying to eliminate forensic evidence of their existence.
