I was scouring the web for indie website(s) worth my time + attention, and found scant that were original, intriguing, or worth exploring (though I have a few in my bookmarks section). I also found most if not all do not know how to actually legit express themselves openly without being weird about it.

which makes it weird because what should/ought be natural is so alien of a concept. especially for this narcissistic generation that should have their master’s on TMI oversharing, or being overly ‘detail oriented’ about minutiae. can’t you see my Bruce Lee dagger look? when I’m scowling at you like this it means please STFU. of course they’d have themselves a nuclear meltdown if I sent them to their safe space (huhuhuh) to hide in, and escape from reality for a wee bit so they could heal and feel right with the universe (yeessshhhhhhh).

I went on Neocities and saw a ton of website(s) that were neither interesting nor original, just biting off of retro designs from web 1.0 heydays. nothing good, just a remake of an aesthetic. zero heart, zero soul. they could not replicate the kick ass vibes we had back then. nobody dared to write shit besides careful, scripted, vague, or anemic blathering s about random shit they liked/hated/enjoyed/celebrated. like I like cheese! or kungfu movies, or Jessica Alba’s skinny ass or some random anime/Kdrama. they were all mass consumers of the crap we call culture, shit shows not worth repeat watching. is the writers strike still going on? I can clearly see that it is.

I miss the times when the world gave chances to ordinary people to do extraordinary things, to have their skills honed + awakened. now its all about know/do nothing spoiled + entitled shits and how gross they were, or how gross everybody was now. and having to work with such over the top, political, narcissistic, or Machiavellian individuals that were happy contestants in the rat race. they lose sight of themselves, they betray themselves, and they destroy themselves for a fist full of dollars more. somehow, I don’t think it’s worth it getting ahead at the cost to somebody else. we don’t have to be shitheads + douches to make it. yes, I really do think. retaining your self respect, dignity, honor, pride, and integrity matters more than screwing others over for a tiny perceived promotion.
